behind the scenes of a grassroots movement years in the making.
Before I ever thought of running for office, I was behind a camera, documenting the life and heart of my hometown for the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung. I was just a teenager—quiet but observant—capturing everything from neighborhood events to the struggles of working-class families. It gave me a front-row seat to the real New Braunfels: not the one you see in glossy brochures, but the one built by the hands of everyday people.

That experience lit a fire in me. I knew I couldn’t just document the issues—I had to be part of the solution. So I founded the Comal County Young Democrats, organizing young people who felt like politics never spoke to them. We rallied, we registered voters, and we pushed for change where no one expected it. That work led me to serve as Field Director for Claudia Zapata’s campaign for U.S. Congress. There, I learned what it means to build real grassroots power—from knocking thousands of doors to navigating the challenges of running against the establishment. It was exhausting, eye-opening, and exactly the kind of experience that sharpened my resolve to keep going.

Since then, I’ve worked tirelessly on the ground, as both a community organizer and a fiber optic technician—balancing long workdays with late-night meetings, mutual aid drives, and nonstop advocacy. Every photo on this page represents a piece of that story: rallies, volunteer work, campaign milestones, and the community that’s lifted me up.
This isn’t just a gallery—it’s a window into the journey that brought me here. A journey rooted in hard work, love for my hometown, and a deep belief that we deserve better.
Because this campaign isn't about spotlighting one person. It's about the people. And every single photo is a reminder of what we're fighting for.
